These Terms govern your use of AltTab, a macOS application developed and published by AltTab (SIRET: 10356400100016), and any purchase of AltTab Pro. By downloading, installing, or using AltTab, you agree to these Terms.
1. The product
AltTab is a window-switching utility for macOS. It is offered in two tiers:
- AltTab (free): Core window-switching functionality, available at no cost.
- AltTab Pro ($9.99 USD, one-time purchase): Unlocks additional features including Search, Auto Size, additional appearance styles, and more than two keyboard shortcuts. Includes updates for the current major version.
- AltTab Pro Lifetime ($24.99 USD, one-time purchase): All Pro features, plus every future update. For those who want to support AltTab’s long-term development.
New users receive a 14-day trial of all Pro features at no charge.
2. License
When you purchase AltTab Pro or AltTab Pro Lifetime, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Pro features. Each license may be activated on up to 3 devices that you own.
AltTab Pro includes updates within the current major version. AltTab Pro Lifetime includes all future updates with no version restriction.
Neither license guarantees compatibility with future macOS releases, though we intend to maintain compatibility through updates.
3. Open-source code
AltTab’s source code is published under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). You are free to view, modify, and build the source code under the terms of that license.
The GPL applies to the source code. The Pro license applies to the pre-built, signed, and notarized binaries. These are separate grants and do not affect one another.
4. Payments and refunds
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, sales tax, VAT, and payment processing.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting [email protected].
5. No warranty
AltTab is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AltTab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues arising from your use of the software.
Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.
7. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on the AltTab website. Continued use of AltTab after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
